Recognition Award presented to Just Harvest
In June, 2025, the Garden Club of the Middle Peninsula (GCMP) presented a Recognition Award to Jay Richardson Grebe, Director, and Just Harvest, a non-profit organization of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. The award was for Just Harvest's work developing and stewarding learning gardens for the community, where gardening skills can be taught and free produce can be distributed to those who need it. They continually promote the importance of the land and our vital connection to the environment through these gardens and their workshops as an avenue to help communities learn to create sustainable food infrastructures.
